It's April 6th and we're watching a huge snowstorm take shape outside our windows!!  Ugh!  Is it spring?  Steve started working outside last week, but this snow will change that this week!  At least we know it won't last long, but the 3 feet of ice on the lake needs time to melt too.

We have had lots of visits from kids and grandkids and we have spent time with them at their places too. We can't get away in the summer time so we try and visit and/or travel in the winter time. Our 6 little grandsons are growing up and the 3 older boys can't wait for the lodge to be open so they can play the games and see all the kids.

If you do not have a reservation for the summer or have never been here, we have some cabins still open for the summer months. We have 2 cabins open July 19-26th, 2 cabins Aug.9-16th, and cabins open in early June and late August. Email us or give us a call for more details.

We have our "to do" lists made for the spring and look forward to warmer weather. Even our large, comfy house gets that closed-in feeling in the winter months.

Here's a picture of our 6 little grandsons....what fun! It looks like we'll have dock boys for many years to come...as soon as they are big enough to carry a gas can!
